High-Speed Rail Meet the Primes Event: May 17, 2012 (Bakersfield)
The California
High-Speed Rail Authority is hosting a Meet the Primes Event on May 17, 2012
at the Icardo Center on the California State University Bakersfield campus.
This forum is an opportunity for Small Businesses and subcontractors to
meet the five design-build short listed teams who were invited to bid
on the first design-build construction project. After a presentation
on the project by the California High-Speed Rail Authority, each short-listed
firm will host a booth in the exhibition area to meet with potential Small
Businesses and subcontractors.

Registration:
The event is free and open to the
public. To expedite the registration process in the morning, we highly
advise attendees to pre-register for the event. Pre-Registration
closes Monday, May 14 at 6:00 p.m.

Networking Recommendations:
Due to the number of attendees
expected, we encourage all attendees to bring handouts highlighting your
business. These should detail your interest, your services, any
applicable license(s) or certification(s), and your contact information. Don’t
forget to bring plenty of business cards to share with the short-listed firms
and other attendees.
